I'd like to offer anyone that would like to post their Rose wantlist or really anything to send it to me and I'll post it with their email. Here is mine. Mine doesn't included exactly everything I'd love a 68 disc or plak but realistically those are a tad out of the budget. My top 2 63 French Bauer been 2 highest bidder now on about 4 of them and 2008 Threads Reds Diamond King black border /10 will complete this set I've won one but lost in the mail. Reds to honor Pete Rose on 25th anniversary of hit record
Big announcement today more to be finalized -
The Reds will honor Pete Rose at Great American Ball Park on the 25th anniversary of Rose breaking baseball's all-time hits record, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer.
Reds CEO Bob Castellini told the newspaper that the organization received the approval from commissioner Bud Selig to honor Rose, who is banned from baseball.
This will mark the first time since his lifetime banishment that Rose will be honored on the field in Cincinnati.
The newspaper noted that the ceremony likely won't take place on the exact anniversary (Sept. 11) of Rose's 4,192nd hit because Rose has a prior commitment to Hollywood Casino that day. Instead, the ceremony might take place Sept. 12.
Rose, still the majors' all-time hits leader, finished his 24-season career with 4,256 hits, a .303 average, 160 homers and 1,314 RBIs. He spent 19 of those seasons with the Reds.
